What is EQUITY?

Equity refers to embracing the differences by providing each person with what they need to reach the same goal or target as someone else.

Awareness leads to change. If we start in education, we can make a difference.

The overall goal of a more equitable environment is to create a positive environment and sense of self to spark individual change, unlocking their unlimited potential, that will spread to communities; thus leading to positive results.

Research across the country has identified achievement gaps. We must act to change the narrative of our students who come from diverse backgrounds in order to close the gap. MK Results, LLC. believes that by working collaboratively with organizations, we can all make a difference to promote equitable practices.

The conversation about equity is necessary to transform organizations by addressing the needs of each person to be successful. In education, MK Results, LLC. empowers and supports organizations through a structured yet dynamic workshop to close the gap, foster positive relationships to improve communities, and promote diversity as an asset to our society. There is beauty and kindness all around us. It is time to begin a dialogue to identify and address social inequities (this includes policy, procedures, behaviors, etc.) in order to move forward and be a #changemaker
